EcoWalks Tours provides a scenic and educational guided tour along the trails on Sydney Harbour National Park. The Middle Head Battery and Barracks Walk departs from HMAS Penguin to Obelisk Bay along Don Goodsir Trail to visit the 1801 fortification. Also, learn about the 10 Terminal Barracks, Middle Head Outer Fortification, Middle Head School of Military Intelligence and the 'Code of Conduct' course as well as see the conservation efforts of local community and government groups to then finish back at HMAS Penguin.
Whilst on your guided walking tour, you'll explore the unique natural beauty of the local fauna. Look out for local animal species such as the inquisitive and photogenic water dragons, chirping variegated fairy wrens, silver eyes, red browed finches as well as the elusive yellow tailed black cockatoos that infrequently visits this site. Oh and don't forget about the scenic views along the water’s edge and the chance encounter with dolphins too.

EcoWalks Tours encourages customers to take public transport to arrive and depart this walk. You can catch the ferry from Circular Quay to South Mosman and then the connecting bus service 111 to our start point in less than 25 minutes. If public transport is out of the question, then pay parking is available too. On arrival, look out for your EcoWalks guide as your tour will be departing at 10am.
