Join us for an educational and inspiring adventure into the world of honey bees! At 2500 feet on the leeward slopes of Haleakala we will meet up at Maui Bees Farm in Kula. We will discuss beekeeping, honey bees and their connection to agriculture and have a brief tour of our organic biodynamic farm premises. Learn about sustainable agriculture and community living. Then we will don protective gear and open up bee hives to look at frames of honey, brood and possibly the queen! After the bee hive workshop we will have a honey variety tasting.
