Adventure Tips

Wear light-colored clothing

Bees are less attracted to light colors, which helps minimize disturbances.

Avoid wearing strong fragrances

Perfumes or scented lotions can agitate bees during hive interaction.

Stay calm and move slowly

Sudden movements can startle bees; take deliberate and gentle actions around the hive.

Bring water and stay hydrated

The workshop lasts about 1.5 hours—carry water to stay comfortable in the tropical climate.
