Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Winter Break Camp for an unforgettable adventure! Kids will explore coastal ecosystems, learn about sea turtles, and engage in exciting STEAM activities like snorkeling, beach combing, and nature journaling. With field trips and hands-on experiences, this camp fosters environmental stewardship and a love for marine life.

Camp hours are Monday – Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
Extended Care is available for an additional fee to drop off as early as 8:30am and pick up no later than 5:00pm.
Register your aspiring outdoor adventurer to join Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Winter Break Camp! Learn about our coastal ecosystems, the journey of our sea turtle patients through for their recovery and how to help be an environmental steward!
We will have a fun week full of STEAM activities and field experiences. Activities include exploring, snorkeling, dip netting, beach combing, swimming, hiking, fishing, nature journaling, and of course, learning to become Sea Turtle Scientists!
There are select field trip days to offsite locations during the week.
Families will be notified prior to camp with an agenda, field trip locations and activities, as well as additional information on what to bring.
All seasonal camp days correspond with the School District of Palm Beach County school calendar.
Staying hydrated while outdoors is essential; bring a refillable bottle to reduce plastic waste.
Florida’s winter sun can still be strong—use a hat and reef-safe sunscreen for all outdoor activities.
Light, quick-drying clothes and water shoes make beach combing and shallow water activities comfortable.
Respect the animals and their habitats by maintaining a safe distance and not disturbing marine life.
Loggerhead Marinelife Center was established in 1983 and has been a pioneer in sea turtle rehabilitation and public education in Florida.
