The beautiful 573-acre lake and its 17 miles of shoreline offer many opportunities for water recreation. The lake is popular for canoeing, kayaking, boating, and fishing. It is well stocked with crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and walleye. Its blue water and sheltered shoreline make it an ideal location for enthusiastic anglers.

24ft Pontoon Boat features seating for 8 and a pop-up sunshade. NOTE: These boats DO NOT have stereos, fish finders, or charging ports.

NO PETS ALLOWED ON BOATS!

Requirements

  • Current Driver’s License for the person renting and/or driving the boat
  • Missouri State Law requires any person born after January 1, 1984, to possess a valid Boating Certificate to operate any vessel on Missouri waters. A link to online testing can be found in your confirmation email.
  • The city also requires a boat permit to launch your boat on Forest Lake. These are sold at the marina, city hall, or online (links can be found in your confirmation email).

Please note

  • All rentals must be returned by 6pm. If you return the boat late, you will be charged a late fee
  • Fuel Costs: each rental comes with a full tank of fuel. Any additional fuel needed during the rental time is your responsibility, along with the final fill-up when you return the vessel to us
  • No Animals
  • NO Smoking on any Rental vessel and fishing ONLY allowed on Fishing vessels
  • ALL vessels are equipped with USCG-approved life jackets.
  • The City of Kirksville has set a maximum horsepower limit of 90 HP. Anything higher than that is permitted at idle speed only.
