Overview

Choose a private or mixed group tour and explore the beauty of Jackson Hole's winter wonderland! You'll learn about wildlife, winter ecology, natural history, and so much more. This tour is perfect for families. Tours are catered to the group's ability with family-friendly, aerobic/active, and nature-focused options.

Tours Offered Twice Daily Twice Daily: 8:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All Levels (Easy, Moderate or Aerobic/Active)

Private Tour Rates:

1–3 people $600 | 4–5 people $895 | 6–7 people $1,225 Activity Level: All levels, customized to the group’s interests and abilities Pickup: Jackson or Teton Village hotels

MIXED GROUP TOURS Mixed Group Rates: 1 or 2 adults $380 total | 3-5 adults $185 each | 6-7 adults $175 each | $165 per child (ages 6-10) Activity Level: Easy (this is a nature and beauty-focused tour) Pickup: Meet at the Home Ranch parking lot at 210 N. Cache in Jackson. Location may vary.

What to Expect

The high-elevation mountains and valleys of Wyoming and Idaho can bring a full range of weather on any given day of the year. It is not uncommon to see a 40-degree temperature change either. Layered, non-cotton clothing and appropriate outerwear is the key to staying comfortable in the mountains. Also note that freezing, windy weather can occur even in July and August. For your comfort and safety, please follow this list carefully. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to consult with us. And be sure to bring your camera!

Tours include Tour includes educated and experienced naturalist guide, use of interpretive materials, binoculars, backpack or waist pack, snowshoe rental, transportation, souvenir water bottle, water, and trail snacks.

Please bring

Guests should dress as they would to go skiing with warm layered clothing and a waterproof outer layer. A winter hat, gloves, neck gaiter, warm socks, and warm, waterproof boots are required. Boots and clothing can be rented locally. Please inquire. Sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap with a brim, and a phone/camera are encouraged.
