You will enjoy stunning ocean views as we ride along historic Boothbay byways leading to some truly mysterious locations, including Pirates Cove, a forested log cabin village and America’s longest wooden footbridge. A haunting highlight includes a visit inside the iconic Spruce Point Inn, host to the Kennedys, Ernest Hemingway, and more than its fair share of ghosts! This ride chills you with spine-tingling tales of paranormal encounters - are you brave enough to join?

What to Expect

Fun and easy bike tour along windy, hilly paved roads through neighborhoods with some traffic.

Schedule

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons from 1:30PM-3:00PM with check-in at 1:00PM for bike fitting, instruction, and practice ride in parking lot. The tour departs at 1:30PM.

  • Although not guaranteed, we’ll ride through excellent areas for wildlife opportunities, including deer, foxes, osprey, porcupines, raccoons, wild turkeys, and eagles (along with ghosts, Bigfoot, and UFO sightings).

Requirements for Participation

  • All renters must wear a helmet at all times while they are riding the bike.
  • Our suggested minimum height is 5 feet tall and weight limit is 350lbs.
  • While no experience riding an electric bike is necessary, guests must have a basic level of fitness and be able to confidently ride a standard bike. If it has been a while since you’ve been on a bike, we highly recommend you practice, even just once, before your tour. Stop by Pedego Electric Bikes for a test ride.
  • Your safety is our priority, and if you don’t feel comfortable riding your electric bike at the start of your tour, we’ll offer you a full refund.
