About This Adventure

BLACK HOUND CLAY STUDIO IS A GREAT PLACE TO HOST A CREATIVE EVENT, TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY OR BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Please note that masks and full Covid-19 vaccination are required for all participants.

Our creative art events include all materials, tools, personalized instruction from a professional teaching artist and firing of your projects. We offer a variety of projects, from making your own custom mugs to planters to bowls and beyond!

A typical handbuilding clay event is 2 hours long, and a wheel throwing event is 3 hours long.

A 50% deposit is due when booking an event to hold the date and confirm your instructor. Final price will be determined based on the number of people at the event and the selected project. When your booking moves forward, the deposit will be applied to the final cost; if you decide not to move forward with your event the deposit will be forfeited.

Every private event will be a base price of $300 regardless of the number of guests. The maximum number of guests you are allowed for your event is dependent on space availability. Our spaces can accommodate between 12 and 16 people due to covid precautions.

Please allow a minimum of 3 weeks’ lead time to book your event or party. We are able to accommodate dates within 10 days or less but we reserve the right to apply an extra rush charge depending on your event needs. You may directly email Cassie@BlackHoundClay.com for any short term inquiry.

Finished projects are typically ready for pick up at our studio within 3-4 weeks. Projects should be picked up by one designated person to be distributed to members of the group. You also have the option for us to ship projects for an additional packing and postage fee. Projects can only be shipped to one address.

Please note that masks and full Covid-19 vaccination are required for all participants.
