Adventure Tips

Check Tide Schedules

Tides can greatly affect paddling conditions, so plan your tour around incoming or high tides for smoother water.

Wear Sunscreen and Protective Gear

Reflected sunlight off the water intensifies UV exposure—apply waterproof sunscreen and consider a hat and sunglasses.

Bring a Waterproof Bag

Keep your belongings dry with a waterproof dry bag, especially important for phones, keys, and snacks during the paddle.

Start with a Safety Briefing

Attend the pre-tour safety and technique session to feel confident before hitting the water, especially if you’re new to SUP.
