" The cave is genuinely fascinating with a lot of different route options, and no need for everyone in the group to choose the same route. This meant that everyone could work to their own comfort level and those who are less at ease won't feel like they're holding up the rest of the group."
"A real adventure which we would highly recommend! We'll definitely be back for more!"

The level of difficulty depends upon the group - for younger children it can be quite gentle, for keen adults we can make it very challenging! You will be kitted up in a special caving oversuit and equipped with a helmet, light and caver's belt. Wellington boots complete the outfit which we can also supply for you. After a briefing from your instructor you will set off on the short walk to the cave entrance. Goatchurch begins with a large inviting entrance which leads into the old Victorian show-cave. There are stalactite formations and sleeping bats can often be seen. As the cave continues it splits into a variety of routes offering a variety of challenges. There are always easier options and the tighter passages are optional. You can find photographs and videos of all activity venues here.
Youth groups from 8 years old, but younger children can participate in dedicated family sessions.
