About

Join us on this amazing blackwater creek for an excursion through an old-growth cypress/tupelo forest. We’ll journey deep into the heart of the Georgia swamp, exploring these ancient trees and taking photos along the way. This is a 4-mile paddle. There is little to no current and this trip is suitable for beginners.

Please Note: Children under 12 must be in a tandem kayak. Please ensure you choose a tandem kayak during the checkout process if you are booking any children under the age of 12!

What to Bring

We provide guide service, a kayak, PFD, and a paddle for each person in your group. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Please bring 1 liter of drinking water per person. We also suggest you bring a pair of bike or golf gloves - they aren't required but many find they are happy they brought them!

Our boat launch site does have a public restroom.
