Embark on a thrilling 3-hour kayaking adventure along the historic Fox River, where Native Americans once fished. Paddle past St. Norbert College and navigate a lock, all while enjoying stunning views of Green Bay and Lambeau Field. Originally known as ‘Rapids Des Peres’ (Rapids of the Fathers) you will launch where Native Americans and early European settlers hailed as a great fishing location! Before the dam/lock was built this was the last set of rapids on the Fox River before the calm flow to the Bay.
Paddling through you will pass St. Norbert College campus founded in 1898, traverse a single lock, and go with the flow to Green Bay shores! Keep an eye out for Lambeau Field off in the distance on a clear day!
