During your stroll you will: • Visit Four Corners of Law and The Battery • See private neighborhoods dressed in their holiday finery • Hear about old Charlestowne from 1670 through the Civil War to the present and enjoy historic highlights and famous landmarks • Throughout December, the Charleston Strolls Holiday Tour will include a visit to the Edmondston-Alston House-the only one of Charleston's house museums to command a magnificent view of Charleston Harbor. The house, built c. 1825 and renovated in 1838, contains pieces original to the family. Guests will get a glimpse of 19th century Charleston through a guided tour of the mansion decorated in Christmas splendor.
