Join an exciting 3-hour kayaking adventure for ages 12 to 16, where young enthusiasts will learn sea kayaking, sit-on-top kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. With expert instructors, participants will explore the stunning harbor and wetlands while mastering essential skills and safety techniques. Experience the thrill of water sports in a beautiful setting!
3 hours Monday through Friday
Young enthusiasts will be introduced to the sports of sea kayaking, sit on top kayaking and stand-up-paddle-boarding through hands-on activities and lessons.
Experienced instructors from Aqua Trails will cover topics including safety, basic paddling skills, the wet exit, and several self and aided rescues. Tours of the beautiful and historic harbor and wetlands are included.
No paddling experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.
Students should bring
The camp is held at the Nature Center of Cape May and in adjacent Cape May Harbor. Classes are limited and fill-up quickly, so please pre-register. Camp time begins at 9:00am and ends at 12:00 noon.

Though calm waters are typical, a PFD is required and essential for safety on water.
Bring water and waterproof sunscreen to stay comfortable during your paddle under open skies.
