Memoir: Pauline’s by Pauline Tabor

A tell-all memoir written by Pauline Tabor. This book was reprinted as a collector’s edition with a red velvet cover and gold embossed profile of Ms. Pauline. In the book, Pauline shares some of the most shocking stories of the strange and unique customers that frequented her home, run as a brothel.

The book also chronicles the trials and tribulations that Pauline struggled with as a single mom in the 1930s. A time when a single mom with 2 small children had little to no means to make a living. She persevered and did what she felt she had to do to survive. With a good sense for business and unwavering determination, Pauline’s undeniable success came from hard work.

Because she knew what it was like to struggle, she was also a philanthropic member of the Bowling Green community. Not only did she care for the community that often shunned her because of her professional choices, she also took good care of the ladies who worked in her brothel. This is the tale of a woman who knew her worth.
