A 1 to 1.5 Hour Bisbee exploration: Named for one of Bisbee's infamous streets - Go beyond Main Street and explore Bisbee's stairs and art work through an in-town route including such sites as the Buddha Shrine and cave, Broadway stairs outside art gallery, the Fred Albert art wall, Angius stairs, and much more. This is an urban walk, and although there will be some stair and uphill climbing (it is Bisbee, after all!), surfaces are paved and relatively even.
These stairs are steep and uneven in places; sturdy walking shoes are recommended to navigate safely.
The desert climate can be dry and warm; carry water even for this short walk to stay hydrated.
Avoid the midday heat by planning the walk in the morning or late afternoon hours.
Stay on designated paths and respect local residences along the route to maintain trust with the community.
Bisbee grew rapidly during the early 1900s copper mining boom and transformed into an artist haven after mines closed in the 1970s.
Local efforts focus on preserving historic buildings and promoting responsible tourism to maintain Bisbee’s authentic character.
Provides support and traction on uneven urban terrain and stairways.
