We will show you the different stages of the abalone growth (2 months-10 years) and will explain the breeding process, you will be able to hold some of them if you want to! Pictures are allowed. Also, we will tour you around our organic Dulse seaweed growing tanks, a superfood fed to our happy abalones, which is also a tasty and nutritious "vegetable" for people! A grilled abalone in the shell and a taste of our canned abalone are included with the tour, and we will show you some of the local coast critters that you often see while sorkeling. Come on in!

Specialties

We are the only Ezo Abalone Farm across the country! Ezo is a yummy tender culinary delicacy that's a breeze to prepare, as it can be had as sashimi, steamed, grilled, blanched, sous vide, etc. 100% organically raised in the purest deep sea water, we feature live abalone of different sizes along with our canned products. Sale of live abalone and Dulse seaweed on site, plus a Food Truck serving small abalone dishes Monday-saturday.

History

Established in 1998, our research led to the farming of Red Abalone, but we quickly transitioned into raising only Japanese Ezo Abalone, and by 2009 our production grew to 100 tons a year. Located immediately south of the Kona International Airport, our 10 acre farm serves the world market for premium live abalone, and is the largest Abalone Farm in the USA.
