Our Wine Glass Wherries have been the mainstay of the CBC’s rowing fleet in recent years. Built by Pygmy Boats in Port Townsend with lightweight plywood and “stitch and glue” construction, these boats are nimble and responsive. The smooth, double-ended waterline makes for a very seaworthy boat. The name comes from the wineglass-shaped transom.
The Wine Glass Wherry is suitable for 1-3 adults and has three rowing stations. Our CBC staff will assist with launching & landing these boats!

Life jackets are recommended for all participants, regardless of swimming ability, for safety on the water.
