Your guide will pick you up early to get a head-start. There will be a separate driver with car or van, depending on group size. The drive to Neuschwanstein is about 1.5 - 2 hours. We will preorder the tickets so that you will have a guaranteed entry. Before starting your tour of the Castle, your guide will take you to a special place where you will be able to take great pictures of Neuschwanstein. After the tour you will head into Oberammergau, a most picturesque villa on the foot of the Alpes. You can have lunch (price not included) and do some shopping. A little further is Ettal Abbey. This Benedictine monastery was founded in 1330 and it is today a major attraction for visitors. You may want to try one of the beers brewed at the monastery (price not included). On the way back to Munich you will stop briefly at Wieskirch, a baroque Pilgramage Church that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be back in Munich in the evening.
