A large variety of waterbirds, and coastal species can be found among the mangroves. Depending on the weather conditions on the day, we will be able to venture outside the shelter of the Harbour, and head north along the coast towards Flying Fish Point near Innisfail. Graceful Sea Eagles can often be seen among the hills here. There’s also a chance to spot turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and Humpback whales during months between July – August.
Or you may wish to venture south, towards Double Point, stopping along the way to observe wildlife among the many hills, rocky outcrops, and small islands.
