Dress in Warm Layers

Temperatures can drop quickly; wear moisture-wicking base layers, insulating mid-layers, and a waterproof outer shell.

Cold weather drains camera batteries faster, so carry spares and keep them warm in your pockets.

Watch Your Step on Ice

Paths can be slippery; use traction devices on boots to stay safe when hiking or standing for photos.
