About

Float New England’s longest free-flowing river, the White River. Our experienced Orvis Endorsed guides will row you downriver in an Outcast Drifter 13 or FlyCraft raft while you cast from the front and back. Stop halfway through the excursion for a stream-side boxed lunch prepared by our chefs. This trip is best for experienced anglers.

Plan on a thirty-minute drive to the river and a total of 5+ hours on the water. This excursion includes all Orvis Equipment and transportation to and from the Woodstock Inn & Resort.

Please note

Fishing License: Vermont Fishing licenses will be required if you fish on water (Under 16 not required). Youth License required for 17 year olds. A link to purchase this license will be sent via your booking confirmation email.

Transportation: After meeting at the shop, you will be transported to the launch and picked up by our Woodstock Inn & Resort staff.

What to bring

Equipment & Gear: We will provide Orvis equipment and gear. Full rod set up, flies, leader, tippet, waders, boots, vest, wading stick or you are welcome to bring your own.

Clothing: Layers are good. Dress for the temperature. Please bring a long sleeve shirt, hat and polarized glasses are helpful.
