Experience the Ultimate Family Day Out: Picnic & Play at Berning Acres Farm in East Dubuque, Illinois

Inspired by our Night at the Farm events. This newest addition opens up the opportunity for ALL AGES to get the VIP farm experience.

Hosted by the Berning Family, DAY at the FARM will be something like this:

-We will begin with a beautiful picnic in the lawn overlooking our fields and horses playing. Feel free to pack your own picnic or order from one of the amazing local bakeries.  We will offer a complimentary picnic basket featuring our very own three cheese varieties (Gouda, Muenster & ButterKase).

-Then, we'll head out and about to tour the farm and interact with the animals. So many new opportunities or experiences to be had — milk a cow, give a calf her bottle, help with farm chores or get cuddly with one of our farm friends (goat, sheep, pig, pony or, maybe a duck). Lots of opportunities for photo ops along the way, and playtime with the goats and other animals if you'd like! Plus, we'll have Gunner saddled up for PONY RIDES (Gunner handles up to 100 lb.)

-Finally, we’ll wrap it up back in the shop with ICE CREAM! Choose to enjoy some good conversation in the shop or maybe a little more playtime with the animals. The Berning kids will be happy to lead your little ones back to Little Kingdom for some more interactions with our farm friends.

*Each paid admission includes your interactive tour with your personal farmer(s) and opportunities to milk a cow, and feed a calf her bottle. 

No need to worry about packing the beverages:  we will offer complimentary sparkling canned waters, wines or seltzers, chocolate, white or strawberry milk, soda and bottled water.
