Join the thrilling Grom Camp 2024 at Ferry Point, where young action sports enthusiasts can dive into the world of Stand Up Paddleboarding! Over four exciting days, campers will enjoy a safe, fun environment, complete with life jackets and water shoes, culminating in a special T-shirt on the final day.

Season 12 of Capital SUP brings an exciting new addition—our Grom Camp is now available at the Ferry Point location!
A grommet (grom) is a young participant in action sports. Originally, a grommet was a surfer under the age of 16. In recent years, this has expanded to include other action sports, most notably Stand Up Paddleboarding!
All participants are required to wear life jackets and water shoes and must feel comfortable around water.
Participants will be given a T-shirt on the final day of camp (please provide the size upon booking)
A minimum of 10 campers is required for the week to proceed.
Carry a refillable water bottle to keep energy levels up during active camp sessions.
Closed-toe shoes or hiking boots are best for protecting feet on trails and around camp areas.
Maryland summers can be hot and sunny, so protect your skin even on cloudy days.
Respect the natural environment by minimizing impact and packing out all trash.
