This festive theatrical experience will take you on a private tour of the iconic London Coliseum, where you will learn some of the enchanting history of this, the largest of London’s West End theatres with 2,359 seats and you may catch a glimpse of the daily running of the ENO before the opening night of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.

The 30-minute private tour, led by an experienced guide from the Coliseum, will end in the American Bar above the auditorium for a glass of Prosecco.

After a relaxing and festive time of chatter and drinks, prepare to be whisked back to the fairytale dreams of your childhood as you watch Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, performed by the English National Opera(ENO).

On a sparkling Christmas Eve in a frost-dusted Edwardian London, Clara receives an enchanted toy soldier which is also a nutcracker as a gift from her uncle Drosselmeyer. Together, they discover a magical world where she battles with the Mouse King and meets a handsome stranger. As the air grows colder, Clara and her valiant Nutcracker take a warm air balloon ride across London to the glistening Land of Snow where a puppet theatre comes to life with dancers from around the world.
