Join us for our Saturday at The Sawmill: Halloween Hike! Dress in your favorite costume and meet us beside the Hawes Family Learning Center for check-in. Snap a family photo with the Phantom Paddler, and then tackle our caution tape maze! Explore the trails at your own pace, discovering candy-filled buckets along the way. Afterward, head inside to make a Halloween craft and recharge with restrooms and water refills.

Wear your Halloween costume but also layer up for cool fall weather to stay comfortable throughout the hike.
The trail is mostly level and accessible but sturdy shoes will help especially if it’s damp or muddy.
Check-in starts at event time; arriving early allows you to explore the trail at a relaxed pace before it fills up.
Carry a small bag for collected candy and craft materials, but keep it lightweight to enjoy the walk.
The Sawmill is part of Buzzards Bay Coalition’s ongoing efforts to protect and restore vital coastal watersheds since 1987.
The hike promotes awareness of local habitats while minimizing impact by using established trails and encouraging responsible outdoor behavior.
