This event includes a tour at Destrehan Plantation, along with a traditional holiday dinner at Destrehan, concluding with a visit to the bonfires along the Mississippi River levee in Gramercy, LA. For many years this Cajun community has built mammoth wooden structures such as cabins, tepees, & riverboats along the Mississippi River levee. Come see the "feux de joie" (fires of joy)!

Throughout this guided experience, guests will learn about Cajun and Creole Holiday Traditions, sing carols, and enjoy with cookies and eggnog.
