Adventure Tips

Wear water-resistant layers

Temperatures can drop after sunset, so dressing in moisture-wicking, water-resistant clothing keeps you comfortable on the water.

Bring a waterproof flashlight

A waterproof light helps with navigation before the bioluminescence shows, but avoid shining it directly on the water to preserve night vision.

Book in advance for sunset tours

Tours fill quickly during peak season—reserve your spot early to guarantee a place on a preferred evening paddle.

Use reef-safe sunscreen

Protect the environment by applying reef-safe sunscreen before your paddle to minimize chemical runoff into sensitive wetlands.
