About

Looking for fun things to do in Dublin? Looking for the perfect hen party activity? The Irish Dance Party is a fun cultural event created, owned and operated by professional traditional Irish musicians and Dancers living in Dublin.

The event goes on for approx 2 hours. The Musician will host and MC the event, singing Irish songs and playing Irish instruments, explaining the history of the songs, music, instruments, dances etc. This is done in a fun and humorous way, providing some light comedy. There are also Dancers who will give dance performances for the group and also teach the group 3 Irish Dances which last for 20 minutes, 20 minutes and 10 minutes respectively.

Irish Music

The Irish Music is performed by some of the most talented, professional musicians working in Dublin. We aim to keep the music upbeat and enjoyable. The musicians are singer/guitar players who will sing the best loved Irish songs such as the Wild Rover, Whiskey in the Jar, The Galway Girl to name but a few. The stories and history behind the songs are also explained in a fun and humorous way. The musicians are also happy to sing any requests you may have. The talented musicians will not only sing but also give a performance on traditional Irish instruments such as the Uilleann pipes, tin whistle and bodhran. Full explanations on the instruments and the Irish Music are given.

Dance Show

The talented, award winning professional Irish dancers will guide everybody through some simple Irish group dances in a fun and relaxed way. They will also give some amazing dance show performances that are thrilling to watch. Our dancers have performed all over the world with professional touring shows such as Riverdance. They have also won world titles in dance competitions.
