North Wind Youth Sail with Educational Stations
Embark on an unforgettable educational adventure with our Youth Charters, designed for up to 20 young explorers and their chaperones. Engage in hands-on learning at various "Ed Stations," covering Navigation, Weather & Tides, and River Chemistry & Ecology, making this experience both fun and enriching for all participants.
Educational Youth Charters can accommodate up to 20 youth and 10 chaperones. Depending on age of youth, we suggest at least 1 chaperone for each 10 youth.
We have a number of different "Ed Stations" which can be taught, including Navigation, Weather & Tides, River Chemistry & Ecology as well as others.
Decks can be wet and slippery, so sturdy shoes with good grip are essential for safety.
Coastal winds can be chilly even in summer—layering helps keep you comfortable on deck.
Fresh ocean air and activity can dehydrate you; bring water and drink regularly.
Getting familiar with the vessel beforehand makes the sailing experience smoother and more enjoyable.
