Ring in the spooky season with an evening steam train ride along the craggy Oregon Coast!
This 1 hour round trip train ride takes you south from Rockaway Beach toward Garibaldi aboard our train powered by a historic steam locomotive! The train is decorated in a not-so-spooky fashion to get all of our passengers into the Halloween spirit. We highly encourage passengers, both young and old, to dress in costume!
All children dressed in costume will get to Trick or Treat as they get aboard the train! Passengers with a child ticket will also receive a special gift bag! And all passengers will be treated to complimentary apple cider as they enjoy their ride!
Don't miss this family-friendly way to get in the Halloween spirit, and avoid the ghosts while viewing the coast!
Seating Options:
Outdoor Cars
Open Car - bench seating with no roof.
Covered Car - bench seating and a roof but no windows.
Indoor Cars
Historic Wilson River Car - 1920's passenger car with cushioned seats. Fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Neahkahnie Car - 1910 dining car. Has tables and chairs, and is fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Wheelchair Accessibility
This train is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, as we do not have a wheelchair lift at our Rockaway Beach location. Please see our excursions that depart out of Garibaldi as we do have a lift there!
Dogs:
Dogs are allowed aboard the Halloween Coast Train in our outdoor covered car! Only task trained service animals are allowed in the indoor cars.
All tickets are round-trip. There is no layover in Rockaway Beach.
