Less than an hour's drive from Melbourne City.

Take a walk on the wild side and explore the majestic and ancient forest of the Dandenong Ranges on a leisurely and easy walk, and if we're lucky, we might spot the elusive and elegant Lyrebird. Teeming with bird life and home to the second tallest trees in the world, experience the beauty o this Jurassic forest.

After taking in the fresh air on the forest walk, we’ll make our way to a lovely and cosy restaurant nearby for lunch. Food and drinks are not included in the price.

We will then make our way to one of the iconic cool climate gardens called the Alfred Nicholas Gardens, which has a Japanese inspired lake garden towards the bottom of a hill.

Finally, we will make our way after to the stunning Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens, which is home to the new award winning Chelsea Australian garden, which showcases the beauty and variety of the Australian native flora in an amazing landscaped space.

In spring, the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens becomes a wonder with a kaleidoscope of colour from flowering of Azaleas and Rhododendrons.

Autumn is another spectacular time to visit the Dandenong ranges to see the beautiful autumn colours in the cool climate gardens.

There’s an option to skip one of the cool climate gardens and have a wander in one of the quaint villages of the mountains, for shopping or just browsing.

After spending a day in nature, we’ll make our way back to the city.
