Event Rules:

  • Alcohol is strictly forbidden at private events on Ward's Berry Farm property in compliance with our permit from the Town of Sharon. Violation of this rule will result in immediate event cancellation without refund.
  • Hosts are responsible for set up and clean up. Set up can begin no earlier than 20 minutes before scheduled timeslot. Cleanup must be complete and the event site vacated by all guests by the end of the timeslot to accommodate the next party. We ask that you use the waste receptacles provided. Ward's employees will empty the waste receptacles between events. Failure to comply will result in a $50 fee.
  • Confetti, paint, or other items for activities or decoration that cannot be cleaned up by the end of your timeslot are not permitted. Piñatas are permitted, provided that all debris is thoroughly cleaned up by host. Failure to comply will result in a $50 cleaning fee.
  • Changes to hayride times are not permitted. Hayrides must leave within 15 minutes of the party start time. If guests miss hayride departure, they are welcome to walk to the field and enjoy the return ride. Our staff have the right to cancel the hayride if your group is not ready within 15 minutes of your party's start time, as this disrupts the schedule of other parties. A refund will not be issued.
  • Event capacity limit is strictly enforced. Permits from the Town of Sharon allow a maximum of 50 people in each tent. Failure to comply will result in a $50 fee, and host will be asked to remove guests from the tent.
