Arrive Early for Check-In

Plan to arrive at Powderbird Heliport at least 30 minutes before your flight for gear fitting and safety briefing.

Layer for Variable Weather

Dress in moisture-wicking base layers and insulating outer shells to adapt to rapidly changing mountain conditions.

Prepare for Altitude

Hydrate well and take it easy the first day to acclimate to Little Cottonwood Canyon’s elevation around 8,000 feet.

Although guides provide safety equipment, bringing personal avalanche transceivers and beacons is recommended if you own them.
