The Captain: Marc Kerns, is a U.S. Coast Guard approved Captain. so you know your time with him will be a safe, exciting & memorable one. always willing to teach guests how to improve their angling skills. Whether educating children or beginners, his approach is always a patient and courteous one. Always trying new and old techniques to improve fishing for the customer, as well as himself, he has fished the Outer Banks his whole life & been a professional Guide for over 16 years trying to stay on top of what is going on & using the best taclke & gear available As being part of his success is being part of the fishbites, Diawa, Costa Del Mar, & the D.O.A .pure fishing pro staff

The Vessel

26′ Yellowfin powered by a Yamaha 350 with a half tower with full controls for sight fishing. It’s the perfect boat to run offshore or fishing the shallows for drum and trout & floats in just under 18″ of water.

The Boat is loaded with the newest Simrad electronics available & has three EVO3 units for navigation, structure, sonar along with a JBL custom stereo system for those that wanna jam while fishing or just chill at the sandbar; the boat whether listening to Sirius/XM radio or bring your own tunes and use Bluetooth and jam.. The boat is USCG approved with all safety gear required.

The Trip

it's your day on the water create your own adventure., At Rock On Charters, we offer a variety of activities tailored to your preferences and age group to make your vacation one to remember. Our Kids’ Adventure Fishing Trips provide an unforgettable experience for your little ones with fishing for croaker, spot, sea mullet and other fish species, and an exciting trip to visit a private island for a dip in the water and some hermit crab hunting. Keep an eye out for dolphin along the way! For a more thrilling experience, our Adult Fishing Trips target speckled trout, red fish, flounder, and more. Kick back with a cold drink in your hand as we fish one of the East Coast’s premier fishing spots.Our Island Hopping and Sightseeing Excursions are new for the 2024 season. They are perfect for those looking for a romantic escape or a social outing with family and friends. Marvel at the breathtaking OBX scenery as you enjoy good music, great company and refreshing drinks on the water. We accommodate special requests if possible and strive to exceed your expectations. By offering 2.5 hrs; 4 hrs; 6 hrs; and 8 hrs daily trips, everyone is bound to find a trip perfect for them.
