About

This 1hr fun and relaxing recreational paddling session offers spectacular views of the New York City Skyline from the Hoboken side of the Hudson River. No prior experience is necessary to join this paddling session. It is perfect for people who have never kayaked before or for those who want a more relaxing experience. If interested in paddle boarding a lesson or prior experience is recommended. A trained Kayak or Paddle Board Guide will provide basic instruction to start. The group will then be allowed to paddle in the protected embayments adjacent to Pier 13 or in a nearby cove. For safety, a guide will be nearby on the water with the group and can take digital photos as requested.

Depending on the tides, the group may travel through a "secret tunnel" under the pier or briefly out on the river to a nearby cove. Whether you want a little fun exercise or just relaxation, leave the stress of the city behind you and get out on the water!

This recreational session follows the American Canoe Association curriculum and industry standards for risk management. The “challenge by choice” model will be used to ensure comfort while allowing each person to participate at their own level and develop skills at their own speed. No prior experience is necessary to join in on the fun of kayaking!

Great for families! Private experiences for groups are available upon request. Please call (201)975-4240 or email info@resilienceadventures.org to schedule!
