About

Lisbon Roots, entertaining food and cultural walking tour takes you off the beaten track to get a unique glimpse of the fascinating historical and ancient Lisbon. Leading you through downtown and the ancient and still very authentic neighborhood of Mouraria, you will go further into the local history, the Fado song roots, the architecture and the city culture, while you discover hidden Portuguese food treasures. You will be introduced to spots that locals go every day! We will visit 6 local businesses and people out of the crowded and touristy areas.

During the 3,5 hours stroll, we lead you in small groups (max.14), small enough not to feel like a touristic tour, but rather among friends in an intimate leisure walk through Lisbon and its many diamonds in the rough.
