What do retainers, flying lemons, and vampires have in common? They are all part of Lindsey Noel’s hilarious, awkward, coming of age one woman Magic Show. Magician and Mentalist Lindsey Noel is coming out of the closet (again) wearing her heart on her sleeve to remount her one woman, award winning, Fringe Festival magic show, “LINDSEY NOEL: I’M A MAGICIAN”, at Smoke & Mirrors for one night only, December 20, 2025.
Winner of the 2022 Fringie Award for “Best Storytelling Show” and originally curated for the 2022 Fringe Fest by creative polymath Lindsey Noel – a queer woman, raconteur, stylist, costume designer, mentalist, & magician. Featuring magic consulting by esteemed magician (and her life partner) Francis Menotti. Utilizing her diverse background and over a decade of producing events, festivals & a passion for creating cohesive experiences: she’s perfected her craft. Noel’s headlined the most prestigious stages in magic such as: The Hollywood Magic Castle, The Chicago Magic Lounge, Monday Magic Night, and multitudes of other venues around the world. She’s even been featured on the acclaimed hit television magic show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us. But for one night only, she’s bringing all that pizzazz to Smoke & Mirrors to share her entirely unique magical origin story.
“LINDSEY NOEL: I’M A MAGICIAN” navigates the childhood struggle of trying to fit in, finding your place in the world, and carving a path to success in a field that has been gate-kept for years as an “Old-Boys Club”. This wildly engaging and surprising production finds light-hearted comedy in moments of struggle and illustrates that even the most outgoing people know what it’s like to feel left-out. Noel wants to invite those strange kids who grew up to be fascinating individuals to celebrate the gift it is to be just a little bit different.
