Duration: 3 hours
Without a doubt Budapest is one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe. Budapest shows its best by night, when the city is dressed in its evening gown.
First thing first after pick up is to drive up to the Gellert hill to get a breathtaking overview of the city from the highest point in downtown and to enjoy multiple vantage points. The general area of the famous hilltop Citadel is also known for photographers’ heaven where postcard pictures are easy to be taken!
We can either wait there for the lights to be turned on, or we can continue to Buda Castle quarter, where you can admire the beauty of the Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion illuminated with floodlights. One of the many upsides of taking an evening tour is that the Southern section of the Fisherman’s Bastion is open to all visitors after 8pm.
Your private minivan tour continues to the Pest side of the city where we also focus on the signature sights, like on the House of Parliament building, Andrassy avenue and Heroes’ square.
Should you decide to take the included panoramic city tour with a cruise company, like Viking, Scenic, etc. we can modify the tour itinerary in a fashion to avoid overlaps.
