About the Shawnee Island Farm A 25,000 sq ft farm located in the middle of Shawnee Island, the Shawnee Island Farm has been growing produce and flowers for The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort since 2009. Tilled with the intention to grow food in the most sustainable manner possible, soil is made from compost gathered around the grounds of the Shawnee Inn, solar technology is utilized to power fencing, and most all of the planting and harvesting is by hand.
Directions to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort I-80 to Exit #310, take River Rd (for approx 2 miles), turn Right into the Shawnee Inn, continue Straight pass guardhouse, at stop continue straight. The resort's main parking lot will be on your left.
