Batu Caves is free to visit; the hot spring charges a small local fee for toilets and showers (amounts may vary around RM0.30–RM0.50).
The climb is steep; those with limited mobility can still enjoy the base of the temple and surrounding viewpoints but may choose not to ascend all the steps.
Pools are meant for soaking rather than full swimming—temperatures vary and management asks visitors to follow posted rules and hygiene practices.
The full tour is about 3–4 hours with a recommended ~60 minutes at the hot spring; exact pickup and timing will be confirmed by the operator before the tour.
