FAQs

What should I wear on a scenic river float?

Depending on the time of year, the weather in Montana can often be unpredictable. It isn’t uncommon to experience all four seasons in one day. Please dress accordingly. Water shoes and fleece are strongly recommended. Scenic floats take place on relatively calm waters, so the only thing that should get wet are your shoes (while entering/exiting the raft). We will supply life jackets for everyone; however, personally owned life jackets are welcomed - especially for children as our life jackets are standard sizes.

What should I expect on my tour?

  • Our scenic river tour is a 2-3 hour relaxing boat ride down the Yellowstone River. All of our adventures take place outdoors; therefore, we cannot guarantee the trip length due to water flow.
  • Transportation to and from the river is provided.
  • Prepare to be surrounded by beautiful mountains, wide open spaces, and the opportunity to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat.

What should I bring?

  • Food, snacks and/or drinks - NO GLASS, please!
  • Binoculars, Camera, Phone
  • Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen
  • Shoes you don't mind getting wet
  • Coat or rain jacket depending on weather Note: While it is uncommon for additional personal items to get wet, accidents happen. Please protect your personal belongings as we are not responsible for damage to private property.
