Step into a sunlit studio a block from the Big Thompson River and you’ll find trays of colored wool like a painter’s palette. Through the window, ponderosa pines lean toward the high Rockies; inside, a single-hour class pares landscape down to cloud, tree and flower using a barbed needle and patient hands. The process is quiet and tactile—each poke compresses fiber into miniature topology until a scene holds its shape.
