Summary

The Taliesin estate is located in Spring Green, Wisconsin.

All tours start at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at: 5607 County Road C, Spring Green, WI 53588

Our Estate Tour begins at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. From there, guests are shuttled to the Taliesin property for a 4-hour walking tour that moves through a large portion of the property. Some of the highlights include: • Exploring Hillside, the school that Wright designed for his aunts. Here, you’ll see the Assembly Hall, Fellowship Dining Room, Drafting Studio, and Hillside Theater. • Taking a country walk past the Romeo and Juliet Windmill Tower, the oldest design on the property. • Getting a close-up look at Tan-y-Deri, the home Wright built for his sister Jane Porter. • Checking out Midway Barn en route to the Taliesin home itself. • An In-Depth House Tour of Taliesin's exterior and interior.

Halfway through the tour, you’ll be served light refreshments while relaxing on Frank Lloyd Wright’s terrace (weather permitting) before enjoying an exterior tour of his home. Finally, you’ll spend a delightful one hour inside Taliesin itself.

Comfortable walking shoes are a must for this tour, since it includes a 1½ mile hike, including some considerable hills, from one end of the estate to the other, with few places to sit down. There are two restroom breaks during this 4-hour tour.

Cancellation Policy
