Join the Women's Conference 2025 in Warwick, Rhode Island, where outdoor adventure meets empowerment. Discover coastal trails, expert workshops, and vibrant community connections designed to inspire women in nature.

Join us for a one-day Women's Conference to meet fellow female boaters and enjoy an introductory taste of: (these topics may change, depending on instructor and space availability)
Docking: Learn about prop wash/prop walk, spring lines, turning in place and more. On the water -weather permitting.
Sewing room: make a bag or pillow cover.
Rigging: overview of different lines, shackles, how to checking rigging and learn how to chase lines etc..
Navionics: learns the ins and outs of Navionics.
Navigation: learn how to read a navigational chart, plot a fix, and figure out where you are should the electronics fail.
Diesel: begin to unravel the mystery of a diesel engine by completing basic maintenance and learning to change your filters.
Boat Systems: take a quick glimpse into the galley systems, mechanical systems, steering, and plumbing system of your boat.
Racing sailboats: Learn the racing terminology and tactics.
Outboard Engines: How a 4 stroke works and troubleshooting.
Participants will rotate in groups through 1.5-hour sessions on topic of choice. Send an e-mail to mary@narragansettsailing.com with your 5 choices with 1 being your first choice. I will get back to you as we get closer with the structure of your day with us.
Together we'll enjoy conversation and comradery over a catered lunch.
