Hands‑on CPR, bleeding control, self‑defense, and AZ CCW preparation — practical training for families, groups, and individuals.
Hawkeye PSD delivers practical, scenario‑based safety and defense training designed for civilians, families, and groups. The organization offers a range of short and extended courses that focus on life‑saving skills (CPR, bleeding control, and basic medical care), violence prevention and response, children's self‑defense, personal and family defense, and fulfillment of Arizona Concealed Carry Permit requirements.
Courses include one‑hour CPR and bleeding control classes, multi‑hour self‑defense and personal defense sessions, and specialized children's anti‑bullying and self‑presentation training. Several classes are offered in Prescott Valley and are explicitly welcoming to both youth and adults. Some self‑defense and basic training sessions also meet the classroom requirements for the Arizona Concealed Carry Weapon (AZ CCW) permit.
Training emphasizes hands‑on practice, clear step‑by‑step instruction, and real‑world scenarios to build confidence and readiness. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring basic items like photo ID and a notebook when required. Group classes and private bookings are available for organizations seeking tailored instruction.
Hawkeye PSD focuses on practical outcomes — empowering students to recognize risks, apply immediate care, and respond to violent or medical emergencies with composed, effective actions. The curriculum balances medical skills and personal safety techniques so families and community groups gain both lifesaving knowledge and situational awareness.
