Learn how to skillfully determine when and how to deliver emergency oxygen in a variety of dive scenarios with our Emergency Oxygen Provider course. This course has no prerequisites and is open to everyone.
Knowledge Development: You will receive academic materials to review which will go over basic types of dive emergencies where oxygen would be needed, safety considerations, and an introduction to common oxygen equipment.
Skills Practice: Once the knowledge review section is completed, you will get hands-on practice with various drills where you will assemble/disassemble emergency oxygen equipment, use demand valves and non-rebreather masks, and deliver quality care and monitoring practices to simulated patients.
Engage fully in hands-on equipment practice to build muscle memory for real emergencies.
Wear comfortable clothing and be ready to participate in physical exercises during the course.
Instructors encourage questions—clarify any doubts about equipment use or emergency procedures.
