Yes! We ride the Segways in the winter, too! River Valley Adventure's 60 min Beginner Winter Segway Trek starts with in-depth training from one of our certified Segway trainers. They will go over the skills and drills for everything you will need to know before heading out on your adventure. The training session usually takes about 30 minutes however everyone learns at a different pace. After the training get ready for the experience of a lifetime! For the remainder of your time you will be taken on a ride through North America's largest urban parkland! You’ll have the chance to revel in Edmonton's winter wonderland!
Any 60 minute adventure may be upgraded to 90 minutes by adding an extra half hour of Segway riding for only $25, just tell your tour guide you are having fun. When you have completed your Beginner Winter Segway Trek you will be given a River Valley Adventure Co. Segway Operator's License which will allow you to skip the training session when you return for your Advanced Segway Tour. Upon completion, we will glide through the River Valley at varying speeds through a route designed to expose you to the beauty of this natural parkland.
You know what they say, there's no such thing as better weather, just bad clothing! We recommend to dress like you're going skiing with a warm ski jacket, ski pants, winter boots, and gloves.
