Step out of the cold and into the warm glow of the iconic Edith Farnsworth House with a Holiday House Tour this season. Embrace the peaceful yet celebratory aura of this unique setting along the Fox River for a holiday experience to remember. Before or after your tour, take time to peruse the Museum Shop for that perfect gift and savor the moment with holiday refreshments and cheer in the Visitor Center. Holiday House Tours available select December dates at 12pm and 2pm. Tours are subject to change based upon weather conditions and number of participants.

Visitor Center Hours:

  • 11:30am to 3:30pm

Wristbands are required to enter the House. Exterior grounds access for the day is included in this ticket. You do not need to purchase an additional Exterior Ticket to enjoy the property. All children 2+ require a ticket.

Photography for personal use is permitted. No drones, selfie sticks, tripods, or stabilizers are allowed on the property. By attending a tour, program, exhibition, or event, you consent to your image being used in Edith Farnsworth House marketing, social media, and publications. Please speak with a staff member if you do not want your photograph taken.

The tour begins promptly at the reserved time with an introductory film before stepping off from the Visitor Center. There is a 1/2 mile walk to the House on a mulched path. Golf cart transportation may be provided if preferred. Socks are required for the interior portion of the tour. (Shoe covers availalbe upon request.)

Pets are not allowed on the property.

Tickets are non-refundable and all sales are final.
