Embark on an unforgettable 8-day culinary adventure along Yunnan’s Tea & Horse Caravan Road. Savor local delicacies, participate in cooking classes, and explore charming villages. Enjoy a unique overnight stay in Tiger Leaping Gorge, complete with stunning views, and immerse yourself in the rich culture through vibrant market experiences.

Trip Cost:

You will be charged a deposit of $500 USD per person to secure your spot. To see the total price for your specific trip, select the date in the calendar. Balances (total price - deposit) will be collected 14 days prior to trip start.

Prices are based on two guests per room. Single travelers will be charged an additional single occupancy fee when your balance is due.

Eat and explore your way through Yunnan’s Tea & Horse Caravan Road, from Dali to Lijiang, plus a unique overnight stay in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Plentiful local meals, cooking classes, market tours, and hot pots galore – the perfect way to explore Yunnan’s diverse culture is through their equally diverse cuisine.

  • All meals, including soft drinks and beer. Food will be plentiful and varied!
  • Ticket/entrance fees at attractions.
  • Our own private ground transportation, provided each day, stocked with mineral water.

  • Airport pick-up in Dali on day 1.
  • Airport drop-off in Lijiang on day 8.
  • Shopping is available during your free time, but this is a no-shopping tour and is not part of our itinerary.
  • Online pre-trip briefing and Q&A by Lost Plate one week prior to departure.
