Embark on an adventure with our snowmobiling tour, granting you early access to the joys of winter. Apukka Resort’s specially crafted snowy trails, made possible by stored snow and snow cannons, ensure an exciting experience regardless of the thermometer. Your trip will cover approximately 15 to 20 kilometres (6 to 12 miles) depending on prevailing conditions. Safety and driving instructions will be provided before the tour begins by our knowledgeable guide. The journey includes a relaxing break amidst the serene beauty of Lappish nature.
Children (ages 4–14 yrs. old) participate in the safari on a heated sled towed by the guide’s snowmobile. We strongly advise having one of the parents accompany a small child in the sled to ensure their comfort and safety. For families with small children and infants, we recommend the Family Snowmobiling tour, which is available daily at 12:00.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult!
The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.
Securing self-liability waiver for your snowmobile before the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250€/person/snowmobile/accident, down from the standard 980€ in case of an accident. This waiver is individualized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.
If you prefer to drive a snowmobile solo, please purchase the single driving supplement in addition to the "adult on a shared snowmobile" price.
Special diet options (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) are available upon request.
Cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the tour to receive a full refund by sending an email to our sales team at sales@apukkaresort.fi. Please see full terms and conditions here: https://apukkaresort.fi/about-apukka/info/terms-conditions/
